Vocal Blue Trains

I Vocal Blue Trains sono un gruppo vocale polifonico di 30 cantanti e musicisti, fondato e diretto da Alessandro Gerini, cantante, vocalcoach e arrangiatore italo-polacco. Una realtà poliedrica che sposa l’impronta corale del gospel e della polifonia tradizionale con le moderne sonorità della musica elettronica e dell’ambient house.

Hanno attirato l’attenzione a livello nazionale e internazionale grazie a importanti collaborazioni con artisti italiani e internazionali come Ultimo, Paul Phoenix dei King’s Singers, Gigi Proietti, Sergio Sylvestre e Modà, esibendosi in oltre 200 concerti tra Europa e Asia. Si sono distinti in festival internazionali come il Wien International Festival, il Jeju Choir & Symposium, il Pistoia Blues Festival e il Moscow Sounds Festival, dove sono stati il primo coro straniero a vincere il premio “Best Overall Performance”.

Nel 2022 hanno pubblicato il loro primo album omonimo con Black Candy Productions, disponibile su tutte le piattaforme. La tracklist include brani di artisti come Leonard Cohen, White Stripes, Justin Timberlake e Drake, reinterpretati in chiave pop elettronica. Il gruppo ha inoltre realizzato cinque video ufficiali, tra cui cover di “Smells Like Teen Spirit”, “Lonely Boy”, “Cry Me a River” e “Hotline Bling”.

The Vocal Blue Trains are a polyphonic vocal group of 30 singers and musicians, founded and directed by Alessandro Gerini, an Italo-Polish singer, vocal coach, and arranger. A multifaceted ensemble that combines the choral imprint of gospel and traditional polyphony with the modern sounds of electronic music and ambient house.

They have gained national and international attention thanks to important collaborations with Italian and international artists such as Ultimo, Paul Phoenix from the King’s Singers, Gigi Proietti, Sergio Sylvestre, and Modà, performing in over 200 concerts across Europe and Asia. They have stood out in international festivals such as the Wien International Festival, the Jeju Choir & Symposium, the Pistoia Blues Festival, and the Moscow Sounds Festival, where they were the first foreign choir to win the “Best Overall Performance” award.

In 2022, they released their first self-titled album with Black Candy Productions, available on all platforms.
