Cappellino sempre abbassato sugli occhi, attitudine metropolitana e animo risonante di Natura, Coca Puma è una sorta di urban fairy in grado di illuminare ogni oggetto su cui si posa il suo sguardo artistico. Un demiurgo che disegna architetture sonore con la libertà di un pittore astratto, un’antenna che capta gli umori ora del bosco ora dell’asfalto e li riverbera in una nuova cosmogonia musicale.

Classe 1998, romana, Coca Puma è il moniker di Costanza Puma, eclettica artista di formazione nu-jazz che si muove in un orizzonte ibrido e atipico, fra dream pop, nu-soul, elettronica, ambient e post-rock. Eterea e magnetica, usa voce e texture delle sue produzioni per costruire un mondo tutto suo. Una passione radicata per la musica brasiliana e una più recente scoperta della musica elettronica si fondono nelle sue performance da dj e nell’interesse verso la relazione fra suono e immagine.

Dopo diverse esperienze importanti sui palchi capitolini e non solo, il 19 aprile è uscito il suo primo album da solista: Panorama Olivia, frutto di un’esigenza creativa che pone in primo piano la ricerca e la sperimentazione svolte nel corso degli ultimi anni.

A demiurge who sketches sonic architectures with the freedom of an abstract painter, an antenna that tunes in to the moods of the forest one moment and the asphalt the next, reverberating them into a new musical cosmogony.

Born in 1998 and based in Rome, Coca Puma is the moniker of Costanza Puma, an eclectic artist with a nu-jazz background who moves within a hybrid and unconventional horizon, blending dream pop, nu-soul, electronic, ambient, and post-rock. Ethereal and magnetic, she uses her voice and the textures of her productions to build a world entirely her own. A deep-rooted passion for Brazilian music and a more recent exploration of electronic music converge in her DJ sets and in her interest in the relationship between sound and image.

After several important experiences on stages in Rome and beyond, on April 19 she released her first solo album: Panorama Olivia, the result of a creative drive that foregrounds the research and experimentation she has carried out in recent years.
